Norne Audio is a high end cable manufacturer specializing in OCC based fine stranded litz design. The first to introduce this combination of OCC and Litz (enamel strand) for headphone cables in 2011. We knew it would usher in a new era of unparalleled sonic truth in Hi-Fi audio and headphone cables. We seek to follow the path to sonic bliss with nboth art and science as a guideline, believing that the least possible loss in a cable is truly the ultimate cable possible with todays technology.
What's in a name? Why "Norne"
Our name actually has a lot of meaning. Norne (the "e" is silent) is rooted in Norse Mythology. The "Norns" are a trio of beings that weave the fate of gods and men under the world tree.
The Norns are also the personification of Past, Present and the Future in Norse Mythology. All of our unique Triangle splitters have our tree logo, and all of our cables are hand braided / woven.
